User Data Deletion

This page provides instructions for requests involving connected platforms and a general deletion request path for Marka users.

Request deletion from Marka

  1. Email info@marka.social from the address associated with your Marka account.
  2. Use the subject line "Data deletion request".
  3. Include the connected provider names you want removed, such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, or X.
  4. Do not include passwords or private account values.

Current account deletion availability

Full account erasure is not currently available as a completed self-service action. Sending a request does not confirm that your account or data has been deleted. Account access may remain active while stored files, connected services, and records that require retention are reviewed. Contact support for the status and next steps for your request.

What your request can cover

  • Connected social account metadata stored by Marka.
  • Stored connection records associated with the request, when present.
  • Brand context, uploaded files, generated media, drafts, approvals, and queued work within your authorized account or workspace.

Remove Meta app access

You can remove Marka's permissions through the connected platform's account settings. Removing access does not itself delete your Marka account, stored files, or published content or messages held by that platform. Contact support to request deletion of Marka records as well.

If Meta sends Marka a verified deletion callback, Marka removes matching provider access. The confirmation code acknowledges the request; it does not confirm full account erasure. Include that code when contacting support for the request status.

Timing

Support may need to verify account ownership and clarify the scope of the request. Ask support for the status, any remaining steps, and which records remain. We cannot promise a fixed completion date while full account erasure is unavailable. Any applicable legal deadlines and privacy rights still apply.

Some records may require retention, including billing or security records. A request acknowledgement is not a deletion confirmation. Subscription cancellation is separate: check the confirmed billing status and contact support if you need help cancelling.
